Student internships are an excellent way for students to gain experience in a work atmosphere while earning school credit and some pay. AAF-Coastal Carolinas supports interns through our internship program -- bringing together advertising student interns and Myrtle Beach area employers. AAF-Coastal Carolinas offers the following programs: - A Shadowing Program - involves a professional hosting a student in their workplace for a day or more to better acquaint them with their career. - A Peer Mentoring Program - a student is teamed with a professional in their interested line of study. The mentor will be available for things such as career related advice, tips on improving their resume, contacts in the field, and networking opportunities. - An Internship Program - a local business allows a student to work in their company to gain hands on experience.
