Involvement = Success
CAMP survival depends on the willingness of CAMP volunteers. This is a list of what is expected from each committee so that you can decide where to get involved to keep CAMP alive and kicking!
Public Service Committee
Chairperson: John Cassidy, 843-248-2574
Goal: To create a multi-media public service campaign to support a local or regional non-profit organization. To conduct projects using advertising techniques to support local or regional programs on behalf of public interests and/or community betterment.
Networking Committee
Chairperson: Kimberly Latimer, 843-626-0239
Goal: Planning, coordinating and carrying out events that educate, enlighten and engage our members.
Government Relations Committee
Chairperson: Fran Tuite. 843 455-5755
Goal: To establish dialogue with elected officials, communicate with members regarding current and pending governmental issues, and maintain a relationship with other groups and information sources to monitor legislative activities.
Fundraising Committee
Chairperson: Missy Davisson, 843-222-8284
Goal: To initiate new fundraising ideas to stimulate member participation while creating income, additional scholarship funds, public service funds, and other CAMP projects as needed.
Diversity Committee

Goal: Promote multiculturalism using aggressive acknowledgement, inclusively and awareness strategies to address Diversity Education and Membership Development, Student Diversity Education Opportunities and Diversity Business Advertising Support.
Communication Committee

Goal: To enhance CAMP success and image through Public Relations, CAMP web site and CAMP Newsletter and gather information for each area including, PR articles from newspapers, web site updates, and newsletter information.
Club Achievement Committee
Chairperson: Paulette Johnson, 843-448-1123
Goal: To Collect info in an organized fashion throughout the CAMP club year in order to submit club operations in the National AAF Club Achievement Competition. To encourage directors and committee chairs to focus CAMP Programs, Advertising Education, Club Management, Communications, Diversity, Membership, Public Service, and Government Relations to meet the National AAF standards in order to win National Club Achievement awards and ultimately "Club of the Year" for Division IV.
Advertising Education Committee

Goal: To create programs that improve the skills and professionalism of current and future advertising practitioners through education with three areas of concentration; students, the general public and CAMP members.
Membership Committee
Chairperson: Gael Sansbury, 843-997-8595
Goal: To Develop Strategies to enhance membership recruitment, retention and involvement.
Programs Committee
Chairperson: Michelle Cantey, 843-361-9400
Goal: To provide quality speakers and topics that will foster actively interested membership, well-attended meetings and membership growth.
ADDY Awards Committee
Goal: Conduct a professional and profitable awards show. Increase industry participation in the competition, maintain or increase level of entries, enhance the competition image, net competition revenues and insure that the local winners progress to the District and National ADDY Awards.

CAMP is a non-profit organization comprised of advertising, marketing and public relations professionals. Our membership area spans Florence, Georgetown and Myrtle Beach, SC and Wilmington, North Carolina.
CAMP is a local chapter of the American Advertising Federations (AAF), which has over 210 affiliate federations in the US
CAMP is a member of the Third District, a regional division of AAF that includes South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia
CAMP is one of the state's strongest and most active chapters
